Why was it not just lucky that this piece achieved its aims?
George's Coney Island has been popular for its hot dogs and as a local gathering place since it opened in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1918. This artist catalogue for William Huber combines a series of portraits he took in the restaurant with pages of conversation I overheard during the shoot. The fact that folks in Worcester were saying bizarre and interesting things that day was pure luck. Getting them on wax paper was not.
