Why was it not just lucky that this piece achieved its aims?
As any designer knows, the most difficult client to please is yourself. That, combined with the tendency to back-burner one's own projects for more pressing (read "paying") projects, makes the process of a complete site overhaul a daunting one. But with our new site and its XML-driven backbone, we're now able to easily make updates, change content, and speak more clearly to clients who like to think with both sides of their brains.
