Why was it not just lucky that this piece achieved its aims?
The design for this book developed after talks with the artist and author, a collaboration that helped shape the book into a form that complements the artist's work. Many of the illustrations are of large-scale architectural pieces which are given prominence through the use of double page spreads and full bleed images, including many close-up details. In this way the reader can interact with the work more directly.
